Construction work is underway at Tsawwassen Terminal as part of minor infrastructure renewal and general maintenance of the terminal’s marine infrastructure. This work is happening on the north breakwater and within Berth 5, and supports continued safe and reliable operations.

    What to expect:

    • Berth 5 is temporarily closed from April 25 to May 14, 2026.
    • All sailings will continue as scheduled, and no sailings are being cancelled.
    • With one berth unavailable, some sailings may experience minor delays as vehicles are loaded at other berths.
    • Customers travelling through the terminal may notice construction equipment on the water, including a barge near Berth 5.
    • During the day (7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), vessels may operate at reduced speeds near the work area, which could add a small amount of time to terminal movements.

There are no expected changes to terminal access or in‑terminal traffic routes, and no night work is planned.

We appreciate customers’ patience while this important maintenance work is completed.
