Sunshine Coast Interest Holder Engagement

In Mid-March we met with Sunshine Coast Tourism and the Sunshine Coast Chamber of Commerce as part of our ongoing effort to strengthen relationships and listen directly to local perspectives.

Our focus in these meetings was to listen to concerns and better understand local priorities. We heard clearly how critical ferry service is to the Sunshine Coast’s economy and quality of life, and we appreciated the openness of the discussions. 

These conversations are part of a broader engagement effort on the Sunshine Coast and are happening ahead of additional meetings with the Sunshine Coast Regional District and other local partners, in addition to the project related engagement upcoming later this year. We look forward to continuing the dialogue and closing the loop on questions as work progresses.
