Snug Cove Ramp Rehabilitation Project

BC Ferries is undertaking a rehabilitation project on the Snug Cove terminal ramp. The floor beams of the ramp are reaching the end of their service life and need to be replaced.

Portions of the ramp were replaced in 2024 and this project builds on that work. Elements of the ramp infrastructure will be refurbished and replaced to ensure smooth operations at the terminal.

Construction timeline

    • October 29, 2026 to March 1, 2027
    • Monday to Friday
    • Between 11:30 p.m. (after the last sailing has departed) and 5:00 a.m. (prior to the first sailing arriving)

There are no anticipated impacts to service levels or sailings.
