We want to know what is important to you, and your community.
As we continue to work on building the connection between communities and BC Ferries, our goal is to create opportunities to collaborate and hold meaningful conversations. One of the ways we are doing this is through our community drop-in sessions. These sessions are a chance for us to hear directly from those who live, work and play in the communities we serve, and for community member to connect with us face-to-face.
As we understand not everyone is able to attend in person, this page is available as another opportunity to provide us with your questions, comments, and topics that you would like discussed. Leave your feedback below, or 'like' other community members' posts to help us shape our conversations.
Please note:
Thank you for participating. Please be aware we will not be responding to questions or posts left on this board directly. If you have specific questions and would like to speak with one of our team members, please send your question to engagement@bcferries.com

Repair Lost Trust, Listen, Actually listen, as if you cared, as if our community meant anything to you other then the profit from tourism. BC Ferries has repeatedly ignored the needs of local communities even face to face. Historically community outreach has left many islanders with less trust then before the meetings started. Questions are answered as if you were politicians, sidestepped, never answered or dismissed as irrelevant, and patting yourselves on the back outside while you think local staff arent listening. You put shreds of plastic in our water, then congratulated yourselves for cleaning up your own mess, only a small portion of what is now spread across the ocean floor. Your employees spend a whole year on call with no on call pay, and third missed call your out. Your ferries don't line up with public transit to courtenay. People have repeately begged you. Tourists drive across the island in a hurry to catch the next ferry driving over 100km/h in a 50. Why wont you tell them they dont need to. You only stopped hicking our prices up drastically because the government forced you to.
