Fall Engagement: Complete

Phase one, open from November 8th to November 28th, 2023, will be conducted virtually. It includes a public, online survey accessible through https://www.bcferriesprojects.ca/bc-ferries-charting-the-course. It will also include a series of workshops with coastal and Indigenous communities, BC Ferries staff, local and regional governments, and other groups. The engagement will focus on collecting feedback about the goals and priorities diverse communities have for their coastal ferry service.

This ensures openness and accountability throughout the initiative. The first engagement report will be available in early 2024. The final engagement report will be available summer 2024.

Spring engagement: spring 2024, with interest-holders and Indigenous communities

Building on the outcomes of Phase one, Phase two will present a draft vision and seek further feedback. It will aim to further refine the vision based on the feedback received. We will announce more details about the second phase of engagement in early 2024.
