Project update - September 2022

BC Ferries is preparing to update the Campbell River Terminal located on the East side of Island Highway (19A) just North of Robert V. Ostler Park. The project includes the construction of a new administration/ticketing building, new vehicle passenger ticket booths, and site frontage improvements, including a new exit from the pre-ticketing area to improve traffic flow and driver/pedestrian safety.

The plans for this project are based on the Campbell River Terminal Development Plan that was developed in consultation with the community and local First Nations. The plan can be found here: Campbell River Terminal Development Plan.

A public open house will be held on September 15^th to discuss construction plans and gather feedback from the community. The information from the open house can also be found in our document library, or linked below:
