BC Ferries is designing four New Major Vessels, set to launch starting in 2029. The New Major Vessels are central to BC Ferries’ vision for a reliable, sustainable, and customer-centred future ferry experience that meets the evolving needs of British Columbians and the coastal communities we serve. As part of the design process, we're working to include features that reflect what our passengers want. This includes creating welcoming and functional spaces for children’s play and for pets.

We want to hear from you!
Building on previous engagement completed in 2019, we’re now inviting customers to share their ideas to help shape the design of the children’s play areas and pet areas on board the New Major Vessels.
Feedback gathered onboard and online will directly inform the next stage of design. As the project progresses, there will be additional opportunities for customers and communities to provide input on other onboard features and amenities.
