Vehicle Length Restrictions - July 15 to December, 2025

As part of the ongoing project work at Heriot Bay terminal, a temporary trestle will be in place to support ferry traffic between July 15 and December 2025.

To ensure safe operation and allow vehicles to safely navigate the turn on the trestle, a maximum combined length of 53 feet for vehicles towing trailers will be enforced. There is no change to the existing maximum gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 39,500 kg.

During this period, no approvals will be granted for vehicles exceeding either the length or weight limits. We will update this Service Notice if there are any changes to the restrictions.
