Thank you to everyone who shared feedback and joined our summer 2025 engagement events in Nanaimo and on Gabriola Island. We're excited to share two Engagement Summary Reports, now available in the documents section of this Descanso Bay – Nanaimo Harbour Terminal Projects page.

Construction is on track to begin at Nanaimo Harbour in October 2025 and at Descanso Bay in January 2026. We look forward to reconnecting with the community this fall—both in-person and online—and will share confirmed dates soon.

As the project moves forward, we remain committed to keeping the community and stakeholders informed, with advance notice of any expected changes or disruptions.
