Maintenance Repairs at Blubber Bay Terminal

As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining safe and reliable service for our customers, we will be completing essential repairs at Blubber Bay Terminal this month. Construction is expected to begin on July 23rd and be complete by September 30th.

There are no anticipated impacts to service between Powell River and Texada Island, with construction activities happening overnight and between sailings.

Construction will include work on the following:

  • Replacement of the floor beams

  • Repairs to the abutment of the H-Piles

Equipment may generate increased noise near the terminal, but every effort will be made to minimize impacts to our neighbours.
